NP Manager (NP管理器) is an Android APK editor developed by Chuiniuer (吹牛儿), and the main on-device rival to MT Manager. It edits APK files directly on the phone: DEX, smali, Java, ARSC, AXML, and hex editing with syntax highlighting, plus one-click signature removal and bypass, control-flow obfuscation, string encryption, APK signing and coexistence installs, and resource obfuscation. It also bundles general file utilities for PDF, video, and documents.
Its use cases mirror MT Manager’s: mod menus, ad removal, app translation, and removing tamper protection from apps — all without a computer. The interface is available in more than ten languages through community translators, and its community lives mainly on Telegram, QQ, and Chinese modding forums rather than XDA. One older version recorded 20.6K downloads on Appteka, and NP Manager-built APKs are cited in Apktool’s issue tracker.
NP Manager is not on the Google Play Store: one-click signature removal, re-signing, and obfuscation are aimed at modifying other developers’ apps, which conflicts with Play policies against circumvention.
